Obanos is located in the denomination of origin Navarra, one of the oldest and most recognised in Spain. This wine-growing area has a wide variety of soils and climates, which allows for the cultivation of different grape varieties and the production of very diverse wines.
Among the grape varieties grown in the area are Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, among others.
